Hello.

So I decided to participate in the League of Legend art contest.

It ends on the Feb 2nd 2012.

5 Days of work, some full days some part days, About 30-40 hours I think.
It was hard to capture the sakura trees at night, they need to be bright and pink and dark because it is night time and yet bright because of lanterns, yet dark because of the lanterns.

The coloring method I used is the same, dublicate layer and erase method I used on this Icon.

The trick is to use image reference! Alex Ross uses image reference! So shall you!

Amazing! hard to get good art of Sona, most of them are just like. BOOBS, this one is much better. (would love to see more League art from you)

Sona has the biggest the boobs.

I dislike making fan art, because it is the MOST pointless waste of time ever, unless I really really really like something.

I made a avatar of last air bender, 2 fan pieces
and a Malus the darkblade, 2 fan pieces
and undead forgotten realms, 2 fan pieces
and braveheart, 1 piece

And that is it.
I enjoy LoL for what it is, a fun game, but it is not that good for me to waste free time making art from it, sorry.

i love this images especially when i see how riotgames makes their champion splash art and i'm like wow??? you don't need talent to appreciate works like this but you need it to make them like duh??? good job by the way i like sona and i see jax their ahahha
